Alfresco company became part of Lighting Technologies Group

Lighting Technologies, the largest manufacturer and supplier of lighting solutions in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union, acquired Alfresco, one of the leaders in the garden lighting in Russia.
"Lighting Technologies is a market leader in every respect, a company with the highest level of expertise in the production and quality of lighting products. At the same time, Alfresco has, without exaggeration, the most memorable product range in the decorative street lighting market and a recognizable bright brand. More importantly, Alfresco and Lighting Technologies have similar business principles and values. A merger will give an additional impetus for further development. We will have a busy and interesting collaboration," co-owner of Alfresco Group Yana Novikova said.
"The deal is a classic example of a mutual synergy. For more than 20 years, both companies have been successfully developing in the same industry, but in different segments. They did not interfere with one another as both teams have their own niche, their own approach to working with commercial projects, and their own product portfolios. Each company had its own successful path and therefore did not interfere with the other's achievements. The deal opens up a new stage of development for the companies and the industry. It provides the market and customers with new products and solutions based on the strengths and complementary expertise of both companies," said Sergey Ivanov, Financial Director at Lighting Technologies.
Lighting Technologies intends to maintain the well-known Alfresco brand with its loyal customers, strong team and unique product portfolio, giving a new impetus to the company's development through fine-tuning primarily in the production, logistics and back-office processes.
"For the Lighting Technologies group, Alfresco will be a driver of accelerated and concentrated development in the garden lighting and small architectural forms. Lighting Technologies will be able to offer even more solutions to its clients, implementing the most complex tasks of the client at the nexus of light and various forms of its embodiment (including in metal, wood and plastic) using lighting control innovation.
