On 20 July, we were pleased to welcome Pavel Malkov, the Acting Governor of the Ryazan Region, and Andrey Vorfolomeev, the Minister of Economic Development of the Ryazan Region.

The high-ranking delegation visited our electronics production area, where we showed the performed operations and explained them in detail, in particular the assembly of electrical components on printed circuit boards and the assembly of electronic modules.

The Governor (a programmer by education) was particularly interested in a demonstration of the Ambiot software platform for lighting control. Sergey Torbeev, CEO of Ambiot (part of the Lighting Technologies group), demonstrated the opportunities of smart lighting, as illustrated by Omsk city case.

In the showroom, Pavel Malkov and Andrey Vorfolomeev examined some products for different segments. One of the demonstrated lighting devices will soon be installed on the city streets.

"High-tech enterprise, operating in the region, is always a plus to the economy: jobs, taxes, and the prestige of the region as a whole. Currently, we have a big contract for lighting Ryazan city. This very enterprise will be the main supplier of products for that contract”, said Pavel Malkov after his visit to the plant.

The Governor of the region also said that after the city becomes full of light and comfortable, lighting control may be considered. "No doubt that this technology has a future, and some cities are already implementing it. We have agreed that we will do a small pilot project and see how it goes. But first of all, again, the city just needs to be illuminated”.

Pavel Soshnikov, Vice President of Lighting Technologies, talked in detail about the lamps that will be installed as part of the lighting replacement project in Ryazan.

"This is a very interesting, important and complex project. As you know, Ryazan residents were even asked to vote for warm or neutral lighting. The overwhelming majority of votes was in favor of neutral lighting. We think this is the right choice: comfortable light and energy-efficient solution”, said Pavel Soshnikov.
