The company "Lighting Technologies" has been certified according to the quality standard ISO 9001 since 2005.
ISO 9001 is a quality management system of companies, which is assessed by obtaining the 9001 certificate based on the ISO standard. The abbreviation ISO stands for the International Organization for Standardization. In its work, the organization relies on the ideas and principles of the theory of total quality management. This allows you to focus on certain standards and at the same time provide consumers with guarantees. ISO 9001 certification puts the quality of the management system at the forefront, on which the characteristics of the final product, including its cost, directly depend. Therefore, the ISO 9001 certificate is the basic evidence of a competent organization of production.
Our company conducts Supervisory audits for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard annually, as well as recertification audits every three years.
As part of the recertification audit in 2017, the company switched to a new version of the ISO 9001-2015 standard, based on a risk-based approach. As part of the 2020 recertification audit, the company expanded the scope of the standard.
This year, for the first time, a recertification audit took place remotely for reasons related to Covid-19. And even a survey of production sites was carried out via WhatsApp and Skype.
As part of the recertification audit, the company confirmed that the management system:
- meets the requirements of ISO 9001-2015
- able to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements
- is effective in providing sufficient confidence to the client to achieve certain goals
- able to identify areas of potential improvement.
