Our company took part in the organization of “City within the city” creative lighting environment in 2019 Universiade Village.

Conceptually, the creative lighting environment covers eight areas: the central entrance and the control point, the landscape park, the sports boulevard and the main avenue, the ceremonial area, the student park and the sports grounds. In the lighting master plan each of the areas is designed with account of rated illumination, the emphasis is placed on floodlighting of upper contours of buildings with linear LED luminaires, which should emphasize the non-standard solution for building faces. Whereat, the designers took into account the fact that SFU is located on Krasnoyarsk elevated plain and a number of 25-storeyed hostels can be seen from various locations in the city and affect the city “contour”.
 
The lighting provides for several scenarios – so-called everyday and festive ones. To create the festive atmosphere light-dynamic illumination is used on glass pyramids of the building, glass stained-glass windows or similar to the multifunctional complex building the bay window glass ribbon over the entrance group is emphasized with RGBW-luminaires.
 
The lighting design was developed by our light designer within record-breaking time-frames. The interval from the start of design to delivery of luminaires to the site lasted 1.5 months. Lighting Technologies luminaires for internal lighting and art-lighting of building faces were used. Eight buildings, including the Library and the Congress-Hall, were equipped with the DMX system to control architectural RGBW lighting and art installations.  The control system provides for a single dispatcher station, where from RGBW illumination of all buildings can be controlled by selecting different lighting scenarios. Manual local control for every individual building is provided as well.
