Moscow Central Ring is intended to be an important part of the city’s transport component. This is one of the largest infrastructure projects which was implemented within a short time. Moscow Central Ring will be the second metro line and tariff system of the Moscow Metro.
Moscow Central Ring has 31 stations each of which makes it possible to transfer from metro to city ground passenger transport. Seventeen stations will allow choosing from 11 metro lines, and at 10 stations one will be able to transfer to suburban trains.
All stations are built under the same architectural concept. And, correspondingly, it was meant that lighting would be arranged in accordance with the unified standard. In cooperation with the architectural bureau “Mosproject-3” we have developed standard lighting solutions for Transport Interchange Hubs (TIH) of the Moscow Ring Railway on the basis of luminaries produced by Lighting Technologies.
Lighting equipment from Lighting Technologies ensures 100% illumination of four Transport Interchange Hubs (Verkhnie Kotly, Streshnevo, Panfilovskaya, Cherkizovskaya). Our luminaries are also mounted at other stations.
All luminaries are selected under the principle of comfortable illumination and anti-vandal functionality. With the help of linear equipment it was possible to “pave” the light path from TIH to metro and railway stations, and now passengers can make transfers quickly and intuitively.
